FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AWARDS

Well, so sorry but we're still awaiting the Accounting Office to effect the disbursements.Update on Nov. 23rd, 2007:
Project MEKB-07-10 has been approved and funded by the Fund for Enhancement of Research in Higher Education provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture, TRNC. Orders have been issued for disbursement of the amounts indicated in the awards table below to the accounts designated by the recipients. Please be forwarned that the Accounting Department may deduct funds transfer expenses if any from the amounts indicated. Those who do not receive the award in 10 days should contact the Chairman.
Petitions for financial assistance from the participants have been noted, evaluated on the basis of contribution to the conference by The Chairman & The Treasurer and decided as follows:

The source of finance for such assistance will be the Project Support awarded to Dr. Atilla Elçi from the Fund for Enhancement of Research in Higher Education through the Ministry of Higher Education and Culture, TRNC. Actual receipt of funds was expected to materialize in June however the latest news is that it is being delayed. We will effect disbursements as soon as the fund is received from the Ministry. Sorry for this unwarranted delay.
