NOTE: High speed wireless Internet access will be available for registrants' use at conference meeting rooms, tutorial rooms, and hallway during May 7-10.

Every participant with or without paper registers in order to attend the Conference. Registration fee rates and the application forms are as given below.

Every paper must be registered prior to publication in the proceedings and must be presented at the conference. There is a reduction on fees for the members of the listed associations. Additionally, a limited number of financial assistance is available for qualifying participants.

Payment may be made through credit card or by bank transfer. Acceptable currencies are US Dollar ($) and New Turkish Liras (YTL).

We know the importance of social networking for both researchers and practitioners; it motivates networking and the discussion of new ideas for joint research initiatives. Therefore the social events during the conference are de facto included in the registration fee package.

* The conference registration includes coffee breaks and the proceedings of SIN 2007. Registration fee does not include the gala dinner and the after-conference tour.
+ Choose one of Regular, IEEE Members, or Student and then the total for tutorials in calculating the sum. Five or more paying persons from the same institution/company qualify for 20% discount if registered together.
 

 Visa Requirements for North Cyprus

The citizens of European Union (EU) Nations, Turkey, USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Switzerland, Norway, Israel, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Australia and New Zealand do not require visa to enter the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Greek Cypriots, Greek from Greece and citizen of Armenia should have visa. Citizen of Nigeria, Philistine, Afghanistan, and Libya have to get visa, but if their people comes to TRNC as a tourist and if they come as groups they don't need any visa. All other nationals should check their position with regard to passports and visa with the nearest Embassy or Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Visa applications can be done at the TRNC foreign representatives for the Nations that are mentioned above.

Foreign country visitors have their passports stamped at the arrival checkpoints of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which are the only legal ports - Ercan airport, Famagusta and Kyrenia seaports.

If visa is required, it's recommended that this process starts as soon as possible. Visitors coming through Turkey in transit will not require visa for entering Turkey. Please check applicable rules through the Embassy of Turkey in your country for visa rules if you wish to visit Turkey.

We can provide the invitation letter so long as you have already registered and paid. Please fill in appropriate boxes in the registration form in order to request an invitation letter. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you receive a visa.

How to Register?

Please fill in this Registration Form, print, sign and fax to +90 392 365 0711 (@Dept. of Computer Engineering, EMU) together with all supporting documents. To qualify for the student or IEEE member rates, photocopy of a valid ID must also be faxed. All forms will be acknowledged by e-mail. The Registration Form includes payment options for you to select. In the case of payment by bank transfer, please append the proof of transfer as well. Receipt of payment will be acknowledged in due time. Registration cannot be finalized for a form without duly-filled payment form, missing documents, and if payment cannot be received in time. Applicants from Nigeria: please read this important message before applying; incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Financial Assistance

Limited financial assistance is available for qualified participants to compensate part of the registration fee, or accommodation at the venue, or travel costs. Petitions may be submitted by filing this Financial Assistance Petition Form online. Please submit this form together with your registration application.

Accommodation and Travel

Preferential rates have been negotiated with Salamis Bay Conti Resort Hotel where the conference will take place. In order to take advantage of such rates and to effect hotel reservation, please duly fill in this Reservation Form and forward it as requested. Alternatively, you may contact the SIN 2007 designated travel agent Kre-Com Travel, (see Travel Agent page at www.sinconf.org).  Kre-Com Travel will assist you with booking and ticketing your complete travel itinerary, airport pickup, accommodation, and tours as well.
