CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
SIN 2019 invites proposals to organize workshops to be held in conjunction with SIN 2019-International Conference on Security of Information and Networks. The workshop proposal theme should be closely related to the conference (http://www.sinconf.org/) topics.
The workshop program will focus on new research challenges and initiatives. The goal of the workshop is to provide opportunities for researchers to present their work and obtain feedback from an interested community. Workshop organizers are responsible for establishing a program committee, collecting and evaluating submissions, notifying authors of acceptance or rejection in due time, and ensuring a transparent and fair selection process, organizing selected papers into sessions, and assigning session chairs. Workshops proceedings will be included in the conference proceedings to be published by ACM and uploaded to the ACM Digital Library. Each workshop proposal should clearly indicate its strength and usefulness and how it complements conference theme. It is expected that a proposal should provide a better insight into the proposed topics compared to what is covered in conference presentations.
Workshop proposals should be submitted to SIN 2019 Submission Site (https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SIN2019/) and it should include the following detail:
Prior discussion with the workshop chair about the intention to submit a proposal is highly encouraged. Please contact the workshop chair, Dr. Chia-Tien (Dan) Lo (dlo2@kennesaw.edu). Every submitted workshop proposal will be reviewed by expert reviewers. The organizers of the accepted workshop proposal are responsible for promoting and advertising the workshop with proper reference to SIN 2019 Conference, having papers reviewed in order to ensure that the accepted papers are of high quality, while achieving a good acceptance ratio. SIN 2019 organizers will provide the paper submission site, facilities at the venue and proceedings publication.
